'What a privilege to be the first to stay in your wonderful cottage, the perfect place to relax and enjoy our favourite part of Cornwall! Ivy Cottage is so cosy and warm with books to enjoy.  The thoughtfully planned and equipped kitchen is perfect for those who enjoy making food.  Beautifully clean and thoughtfully equipped with so many extras, thank you! The outdoor table and lovely garden have been enjoyed with daily visits from Bear the cat next door.  We love your sense of colour/attention to detail too.  It has been lovely to meet Lorna, a friendly and helpful hostess throughout our stay.  Many thanks and we wish you every success with Ivy Cottage!'

 

'Our stay was just the perfect Cornish retreat. Four friends/2 couples & we felt right at home & were pretty sad to leave. Little touches of homemade cookies & granola were delicious, not to mention the Cornish milk & butter upon arrival! Fresh coffee & flowers definitely didn’t go unnoticed either... & those beds!!! Best nights sleep we have had in a while, the struggle to get up in the morning was real! The cottage was spotlessly clean & all amenities were to a high standard... we even gave the pink Aga a name. We are SO looking forward to returning. Thank you Lorna x'

 

'This is a truly beautiful old cottage. It has been tastefully renovated whilst still keeping its original character, with great style and an artistic eye. The colours, furnishings and equipment have all been carefully chosen and are of a very good quality, the beds are so comfortable. It is spotlessly clean and everything is new. Your every need is catered for from the welcome scones and wine on arrival, to the numerous plugs for tech, Netflix and DVD's for rainy days, the brochures detailing what is in the immediate area - I could go on. If you don't know Zennor it is idyllic and you wake to the sound of the gulls overhead. The walks are stunning and it is within easy reach of beaches and the fabulous Gurnards Head. This was our first experience of AirBnb and it could not be bettered. Thanks should also go to Lorna our super host who was fabulous.'

 

'The Ivy cottage is a wonderful and quiet place to calm down - in a beautiful and tasteful environment - in a landscape of exorbitant beauty and ruffness - for there are many footpaths, beaches, pubs and hidden gardens to discover. With a little more time it would have invited me to read novels and calm down even more. the Cottage is renovated very thoughtfully in a luxurious way (super showroom, very good beds, lamps etc.) But still it is very traditional and ‚down to earth - best you can have!!'
